This system was originally built in September 2007 with conventional air cooling, by mid December 2007 I had added a Radiical FuZion Extreme D5 Kit and D-Tek FuZion GFX. This was rock solid cooling that allowed a humble overclocker, like myself, the headroom to push for greater heights.
Sadly my 8800GTX failed under warranty and was replaced by a GTX260. This provided the perfect excuse to add to my already adequate water cooling. I ordered myself a GTX260/280 Uni-Sink, 120 dual pass radiator and a D-TEK GFX V2. Then with some case modding I fitted all my goodies inside my tried and trusted case.
This cooling allowed me to push my Q6600 from a stock speed of 2.4Ghz to a very stable 3.6Ghz. Although not a result of the cooling system I also pushed my RAM to 960Mhz with timings of 4,4,4,10 at 2.2V. The original 8800GTX had been pushed to a similar performance of a 8800Ultra with the aid of water cooling, the GTX260 is yet to be overclocked though load temperature has dropped from 64C to 39C thanks to water cooling. Currently this system returns a 3Dmark vantage score of P11290 with dual monitors.
I would like to thank Radiical Computing for there fantastic products and after sales service. Tricia has helped me from my very first order of water cooling products to the latest additions to my computer, for this I am very appreciative.
Here are some pictures of the completed system, enjoy :)
