PraZStaR Project


Purpose of my project:

After trying many different after market CPU cooler which produced a lot of noise with very little cooling capability, I got fed up and decided to build my first water cooling PC.

What I wanted out of my WC setup:
* I wanted to lower the temperature of my CPU & Motherboard Chipset.
* To minimize noise as much as possible
* To have an effective water cooling setup which works well and looked good too.

Case: Thermaltake Soprano
Mother Board: Abit IC7 (Chipset i875P) Socket 478
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 Prescott 3.4GHz (OCed to 3.85GHz At 45 - 50 degrees under 100% load)
Ram: Team Xtreem Zeus series 1GB DDR 400 Mhz (CAS Latency : 2-2-2-5)
PSU: X-ConnectR 500W ATX PSU - Black w/ UV Green
Video Card: HIS X850 XT IceQ II (Not OCed)
Hard Drive: 120Gig Maxtor
Sound Card: Audigy 2ZS
DVD Burner: LiteOn 18X DVDRW

Radiators - Radiical® Pro 120 mm Single Fan Radiator -Dual Pass.
Radiical® Radiator Stand Off Kit
Water Block - RADIICAL® X -Block Series II Model CWX.
Pump - SWIFTECH MCP350 12V Pump.
Hose - 3/8 Clear.
Reservoir - Radical® Drive Bay Reservoir.
1 x 120mm Evercool Fan on the Radiator.
Asetek chipset water block (Re-Fabricated by Radical Computing).
